MyPlot's Plant Library is now public. It covers vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, and native plants — with growing guides written for Australian and New Zealand conditions. Every profile includes the key facts you need before you put something in the ground: sun and water requirements, spacing, days to harvest, frost tolerance, and companion planting notes.
We built the library because most of the growing information online is written for Northern Hemisphere conditions. Planting calendars that say "sow in spring" are not much use when your spring is our autumn. The MyPlot library is calibrated for southern conditions and will continue to improve as we add regional detail.
Every plant page links directly into MyPlot so you can start tracking that plant in your own garden with one tap. If you spot an error or a plant that's missing, reach out — we take accuracy seriously and update profiles regularly.
