Spotted something. Did something. Picked something. Quick Log is the fastest path from observation to record — one tap, a few words, done.
Logging garden events is only useful if you actually do it. The original log form in MyPlot required too many taps — find the planting, open the event form, fill in the type, write a note, save. For a quick observation that took 3 seconds, a 45-second logging flow wasn't worth it.
Quick Log fixes that. It opens from anywhere in the app with a single tap. The most recent plant you worked with is pre-selected. Common event types are one tap each. A note is optional. Most logs take under 10 seconds. If you want to add detail — quantity, severity, a photo — it's all there, but nothing is mandatory.
The planting suggestions are smart: Quick Log surfaces your most recently active plantings first, weighted by your seasonal patterns. You can search by name if you need something else. All entries feed into the same planting timeline as every other event — Walk Sessions, manual logs, and Quick Logs all appear together in chronological order.
