Harvests
Harvest records are the long-term memory of your garden. They let you compare seasons, identify which varieties and beds are most productive, and build an honest picture of your garden's output.
Logging a harvest
  1. Go to Harvests → Add harvest, or use Quick Log for faster mobile entry.
  2. Select the planting (start typing the plant name to search).
  3. Enter the weight (grams or kg, depending on your unit preference) and/or count.
  4. Optionally rate quality from 1 to 5 and add notes — variety performance, flavour, issues.
  5. Save. The harvest is recorded against the planting and rolled up into reports.
Why log weight? Even rough estimates are useful. Over a season you'll see exactly which crops, beds, and varieties are actually productive — and which are taking up space for little return.
Harvest reports
Available at Reports → Harvest reports. Shows:
By crop
Total weight per plant type across all seasons and beds.
By bed
Which beds are most productive by total yield.
By season
Year-on-year comparison of your overall garden output.
AI harvest debrief
At the end of a season (or any time), the harvest report page offers an AI debrief — a short narrative covering what performed best, what underperformed, and one concrete suggestion for the next season. It reads your actual harvest data, not just general advice.
