Reminders
Reminders are time-based garden tasks — the things you need to remember to do but will forget without a nudge. They can be linked to a specific planting or stand alone.
Creating a reminder
- Go to Reminders in the sidebar and click Add reminder.
- Enter the task description — be specific ("Feed tomatoes with liquid fertiliser" not just "Fertilise").
- Set a due date.
- Optionally link the reminder to a specific planting — it'll then show in that planting's event history as well.
- Save.

Sow next lettuce batch

Good uses for reminders
- Weekly or fortnightly feed schedule for heavy feeders (tomatoes, brassicas)
- Pest inspections after rain ("check for slugs — Tue")
- Succession sow dates ("sow next lettuce batch — 3 weeks")
- Frost cloth reminder as autumn approaches
- "Check garlic — harvest test" around expected maturity
Tip: Keep reminders specific and actionable. A reminder you can complete in 5 minutes is more useful than a vague "check the garden" reminder you'll keep pushing forward.
